Welcome (Back) BBQ Party - More than 30 Indonesian freshmen attended BBQ party just before the new academic year began - an event where the freshmen could get to know the seniors as well as other freshmen in a relaxed atmosphere.
It is so good to see all the freshmen getting excited for to know more people and to start their first day of school in Singapore Management University (SMU). Not only the freshmen, many seniors also came to the BBQ party just to have chat and take delight in the barbecuing party.
As usual, it was a pleasant gathering and people socialized over barbecue and beverages, while some of them busied themselves barbecuing array of food ranging from satay to stingray , which added a delicious smell of flavour to the sizzling air of summer.
Everyone seemed to be engaged in conversation and wallowed in the night atmosphere. Heard in the night air was boisterous sound of laughter which was like a music to the ear. There were also some people taking group selfie to capture the zestful moment.
At approximately 10.30 p.m., the party came to an end with most of the guests went home. Overall, the BBQ party is just the right gathering to pump up everyone's mood to kick-off the first day of university.
