OlYMPPIC is back!
Olymppic is an annual sports competition held by PPI SIngapura to welcome participants from all universiites in SIngapore. This year, players from SMUKI join futsal match to compete against players from other university.
OLYMPPIC 2014
The futsal tournament between SMUKI and other universities commenced on Sunday, 9th March 2014. In the morning, our players were warming up, stretching their muscles to prepare for the upcoming big match. Afterwards, they were discussing strategy and players' formations to best win the match. Every person was contributing his idea to plan the strategy.
At approximately 10 a.m., the match began. It was expected to be one intense tournament. Supporters from SMUKI players were giving encouragement to pump-up the spirit of our players. Amidst the blazing sun, our players tried their utmost to secure victory.
Although in the end our team did not succeed to defeat other teams, it was a worthwhile experience for all of us. The lesson of teamwork, trust and team's dynamism is as invaluable as the victory. The ends is not everything, but the process involved to achieve the ends is what matters the most.
